Don’t see any reviews on these & their website says they will ship to USA
Pipedream 400 comfort rated to -3 C & weighs .77 kg with hood
pertex quantum shell w/ european 700+ fill 90% loaded on top
for 100 pounds + shipping
Feb 23, 2006 at 7:46 pm #1351184they (alpkit) have for 35 pounds a set of carbon hiking poles that break down (3 section twist lock) and weigh 384 gm for the pair
Feb 24, 2006 at 1:40 am #1351213No longer £35 a pair. Prices have risen. See

for reasons which may become true for other sources of CF poles. If you are in the US and buying anything from Alpkit (or most other UK mail order outlets) prices quoted are not what they seem. They include “Value Added Tax” at 17 1/2% which we poor Brits have to pay but you rich Americans don’t. This should reduce the price for you by at least the amount of carriage costs, but some places don’t give you the reduction unless you specifically ask for it.
