Hey,
Was wondering if anyone knows if you can purchase snacks/food at the High Sierra Camps in Yosemite? I know you cannot get the meal service w/o a reservation but I've heard you can get trail mix and other small things there….is that true? Just wanting to lighten my load and being able to purchase snacks along the trail would help.
In years past that has been the case. Although selection is limited and expensive. My advice would be to carry the extra pound or two of snacks and avoid "civilization" like the camps.
So have to stay at the HSC's. Dont' mind it as my eyes will be shut most of the time, and it's the only way I can use my REI Flash 18 .
