So I was trying out a #7 synpad. It was about 70dF. I woke up and I was burning up under a super thin summer quilt, even more so than in my bed under the same quilt. I think I could actually sleep on that thing in the summer with just a sheet.
That got me thinking, has anybody tried setting up a summer quilt to fasten directly to the edges of a full length pad like a large neoair/synmat/downmat with velcro or something like that.
