Green LakeMe and my son got the itch to explore the Eastern side of the mighty Sierras and we found Green Lake. It was only 2.5 mile hike-but this was after a 5 and 1/2 hour drive..The mosquitoes were out in force and we also enjoyed a 3 hour thunderstorm in the afternoon. Here are a few pictures:

Me and my boy
had a great time spending 3 hours in our shelter in the afternoon.. Playing tunes and checkers!!!!
