Thanks – I tried this, but it didn't work for me – told me code was invalid. It may be because I am from outside the USA. However, at the stage that I had entered the code I hadn't changed the shipping destination (but I guess it may know from cookies?).

I just talked with the Backcountry folks about an order I had placed using the CODE but did not get the discount. My mistake for not reading the fine print ; this 50% offer is only valid for items at the Outlet Store.

I had made the same mistake in reading… Too good to be true eh?

Ha, you can bet that if it was 50% off the regular store then this thread would already be about 25 pages long!
