I've been playing with this cook system lately, and finally, I think, I've got things to where I like this set-up.

Initially, I had tried to do a 24oz boil, but found the pot was too hot to grip, even with the beer band in place.

Also I didn't like the small 1/2 length cozy that came with the system, so I made a full length pot cozy, along with a cozy over on top of the lid, with a small aluminum pot handle.

I like a longer length AGG stuff sack for this system as I can place 15 Esbit tabs in a small 4×5 Aloksak, which I then can place on top of the Fosters can, inside the stuff sack.

So, now rather than trying to do a single 24 oz boil. I'll do a double boil of 12oz for breakfast or dinner, and another 12 oz boil for coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, from the same Esbit tab.

I also, cut a piece of aluminum flashing, the same diameter as the Fosters can, and placed this in the bottom of the cozy, to act as a heat shield.
Relectix is only foil wrapped bubble wrap, and will probably melt, especially where the bottom of the Fosters can comes into contact with the cozy.

Note: I pre-filter all my water, so I don't really need a full boil, but after 6 min. for 12 oz of water, I normally got a near boil/full boil anyway.
