Frank, iron oxidizes to iron oxide, ie, rust, which doesn’t hurt you unless in ridiculously high concentrations (see its MSDS), manganesse is a trace metal not usually found in water, sort of like chromium, and sulphates you eat in food all of the time. But elsewise chlorine dioxide does not oxidize nonorganic matter.

Peter, Not a problem. Just wanted to make sure all was clear – often my poor writing “style” can be confusing.
