I want to make a quilt that’s good down to about 40 degrees. I’ve read through this MYOG forum and elsewhere for a while but am still having trouble narrowing down which materials to use and how to make a quilt. These are the designs I’ve found on this forum that look interesting:a href="http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/forums/thread_display.html?forum_thread_id=14566&skip_to_post=115978#115978">1 ,a href="http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/forums/thread_display.html?forum_thread_id=14697>2 ,a href="http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-bin/backpackinglight/forums/thread_display.html?forum_thread_id=10213>3. Has anyone made any of these or similar and can tell me which is the best choice or another design to choose? Are there good instructions or designs anywhere on how to make quilts? I guess thruhiker is the best source for quilt making material. Thanks for any replies.
