JMT Shuttle Logistics

Is there an easy cheap way to get from Tuolumne Meadows to Lone Pine?

I'd like to leave my car at Tuolumne and then get to Lone Pine for my start of the JMT.

But between the YARTS' late schedule and the CREST's early schedule it will take two days and a motel stay in Mammoth to do it.

Mt. Whitney Shuttle is $385.

Hitching seems to make the most sense.

Any tips or tricks to getting this done?

(two part bus ride, one to mammoth, then from there to tuolumne meadows)

I need a ride from North to South, but that's all I see, and I've been looking.

Now I'm just Hoping someone knows a trick or two…
