Anyone have any experience with Outdoor Research FLEX-TEX GAITERS™? How water resistant are they, how warm (are they overly warm for mild weather), how durable? Can anyone recommend any other lightweight durable gaiters with good balance of water resistance and breathability?
I like them. They’re great for snow and moderately sloppy conditions, vent well and dry quickly. Easy to put on and remove, too.
They make a nice midpoint between coated waterproof or Goretex gaiters and lightweight, uncoated “debris” gaiters, which are what I wear in summer.
