I have also been here. lovely trail the high peaks is. I love the steps carved into the rocks.
Nice Pics!! I have always wished that they would have a few backcountry campgrounds so that we could do backpacking trips there.
Two things you forgot to mention in your pics.
The picture of the fog over Soledad. Where's the prison?? On and the other range across that valley is The Santa Lucia Highlands. One of the best wine growing regions in California
