While looking at bike stuff I came accross this scale, a hanging unit with 50 gram to 25 kg[55#] scale and .0005 accuracy of the total weight…anybody familar with.

Looks great for total pack weight or larger items. I would want a smaller minimum weight and better resolution for direct comparison of competing products. You have several large items in your pack to weigh and then a lot of small things like microlights, matches, first aid, personal hygiene or cooking stuff, that all add up to 25% of my kit’s base weight.
