I've had it with these snakes in this tree!

I was tying up my tarp when my friend spotted this one. I basically had my arms around it and was face to face with it.

is that a black racer?
it looks like the neck is too thin to be a pine or rat snake.

Sorry Roger, gotta little carried away, here's a snake. In VA we call any snake that looks like this a blacksnake. Don't know if that's right. Sorry he's not in a tree.
