Hi

I have tried on the above boots and am very happy with the fit. I understand the sentiment that some have regarding a 'waterproof' shoe/boot, but I'm really trying to establish what would be the better choice, eVent or KeenDry. I have the chance to buy either and whilst I know that KeenDry is the 'revamped' version, I don't know that it would be a better or worse choice. Can anyone enlighten me.

Thanks in advance.

i work at a local EMS and am the "foot guru" there and i've talked to the keen rep about the keendry vs event debate and my understanding was that the keendry is a little less breathable but a little more durable (also a little cheaper for them) another difference is that the version with the keendry is the newer version with an extra line of stitching in a critical spot. however this is deffinitly a great shoe, i like the vented version, the voyager a little bit better, but it is a vented boot so its your choice.

I've talked to the Keen rep for Canada and he said the same thing about KeenDry. KeenDry has a bit of stretch to it so it works better in a shoe. The Targhee has a tendency to leak near the toe because the flexing would crack the eVent. I'd get the newer shoe if I were in your position.
