Did the G.Bass Coastal Walk yesterday, 120 km south east of Melbourne.
A very pretty easy stroll along the cliffs that your grandma could do . Wide path, cliffs on one side and gentle rolling hills on the other.
Several side tracks take you down to the inlets, care needs to be exercised by the water as the rocks can be very slippery and the currents are very strong there. However not dangerous at all if some common sense is used.
Very easy if you stick to the cliff top walk.
About two hours in two back at a moderate pace, plus side walks if you choose to do so (recommended…)
Did not spot any whales, nor dolphins ( but I had left my binos at home) but seen several birds and only one brown snake sunning himself on the path till we got close enough. Then he took off at high speed.
Sooner or later I'll get a decent camera.
