OR Dry Comp Vertex

I've had this pack for about a year. Versus other UL packs (such as the ULA Conduit) its a little heavy for the capacity. But being that its a dry bag, if you hike in an area with lots of rain and snow, its pretty cool. The "separate zippered pocket" for the water reservoir is too small. Plan on either using 1 liter platy bottles in the side pockets, which is what I prefer, or keep your hydration bladder in the main gear compartment and use the zippered pocket for easy access to small items (ie headlamp, cliff bars, etc.) The waist belt is 1 inch webbing and helps minimally with stability but offers no real weight displacement. As a result I would try and keep your load under 15 lbs.
