Does anyone know where I can find rubber tips for my new Stix trekking poles? With their ~8 mm tips, none of the Leki's I've looked at will fit (too big–12, 14, 16 mm).

As a side note, my medium NeoAir arrived yesterday, and it measured 20" x 76", not 20" x 72". It weighed 14.45 oz. So I guess there is a degree of variation among these pads. Anybody else notice this with their's?

No, Christopher, they don't fit. I have several pair for my regular Komperdell poles, and I tried them. The Stix have the same size tip at the end, but they don't have as much taper as the larger diameter poles. So the rubber tips pop off easily.

Thanks for tossing the idea out, though. I'll hit a specialty hardware store today, and see if something suitable is made for some other purpose, but which will work for these as well.

Update, Christopher. I had serious brain-lock here. I'd only tried my used pole tips on the Stix, not a fresh pair. The REI tips (made for them by Komperdell), exactly fit the Stix after all. I guess the rubber, when stretched over the larger diameter pole tips for a couple years, don't rebound much. But new ones are a bulls-eye for the Stix.

Thanks Gary I ordered a set of the Stix a few days ago and will need a set. The only bad thing is that I have lost odd sets of the rubber feet before in deep sticky mud.
