Has anyone heard about or tried out Rainshield’s performance series pants? I am trying to find out whether they are much more resistant than their basic rain pants. I called rainshield and they said that the performance pants were much tougher while getting the same rain protection/breathability performance. If that is indeed the case, they would seem like the perfect “cheap” alternative to eVent pants and better than pants such as the Golite Reed. And they have ankle zippers … :-)
