Companion forum thread to: 21 Miles to the Lake
Another solo Harriman trip. It is an overnighter but not a short one at that. I cover 21 miles on day 1 and an easy 3 miles on day 2…
Jul 15, 2022 at 9:11 am #3755138Running out of water is not a good feeling. I misjudged the last little bit of a trip yesterday and ended up very dry for the last hour and was uncomfortable. I’m glad you were able to able to make an adjustment and figure out another source.
Jul 15, 2022 at 10:43 am #3755153Ummm.. yeah true definitely not a good feeling. Though truth is you can go a day or so without water before actual death comes creeping. I wouldn’t suggest trying it thats for sure!!! Many years back I had renal failure and was in the hospital for a week.. it wasn’t due to dehydration.. but that could happen from being dehydrated and ohh boy you dont wanna go like that out there!!!
