Going to pull the trigger on a EE Revelation. My final decision is whether to get it in 20D exterior or a 10D exterior with 20D top and bottom stripes. I hike in more a rainy and wet environment and will be using it mostly while in a lean-to.
Trying to compare the weight savings and breatheability of having some 10D against the more wind-resistant and water-repelling 20D.
Finally, is the 10D fragile enough to be of a concern?
The 10d is plenty durable imho. I considered the 20d foot box but since it’s not waterproof I didn’t see the point. Added cost and weight. I just drape my rain shell over my foot box.
Have you noticed any abrasion with the 10D?
My instinct was to get the 20D but decided to go with the 10D and 20D stripes. Thanks Don.
