Doing the JMT in July. Just looking for a pair of lightweightish gaiters to keep some of the dirt and sand out. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys

I second the dirty girl gaiters. Keep in mind that if you have trail runners or running shoes that have any sort of mesh, the insides will get dirty anyways but the gaiters might help some.

I also endorse the Dirty Girl gaiters. I used them in conjunction with a pair of Montrail Hardrocks on the JMT last summer and had no problem with debris getting into my shoes. My feet got dirty every day from fine trail dust but not once did I have to stop to empty my shoes of gravel etc. They weigh around an ounce.
