my wife and i have been using a rab drillium event jacket for about a year.
we both felt it was a huge increase in ventilation compared to the various gore tex jackets we had used in the previous, and were as close to impermeable as we ever got.
however my wife drillium just started to let water in under the backpack strap for the first time during our recent one week hike in the highland.
she replaced it with a slighty heavier
but more durable 3 layers event vidda jacket
i am thinking of replacing mine before our next hike in Greenland, not because its leaking but because of the cut, the one i own is good for warm climate but i cannot use it with my BPL hoodie, the cut is too tight under the armpit,
i wont take a larger size its already an L and i am 1,74m 76kg, the arms are already way too long and the torso more than adequate.
so i am searching for an event jacket, not too heavy, preferably 3 layers.
i was thinking about the montane superfly,
anyone other idea, would be welcome :)
