Hi I'm thinking of getting a etowah 8×10 sil tarp. I am wondering if its possible to fit the line locks that MLD uses for their tarps? They seem like a great idea that you can adjust your tarp without having to go outside.

Thanks, Jay

I'm sure you can. The only retail lineloc source I've found is http://questoutfitters.com/plastic.htm (near the bottom of the page) … but there may be others.

While I'm a fan of linelocs, there are some things to know.
* They work best with a fairly narrow range of line diameters. It almost seems like they were designed with Kelty Triptease in mind.
* They are designed to be attached with 1/2 inch wide webbing … not a lot of room to accept stitching when attaching to the tarp. That's much less a problem with smaller tarps like MLD makes. I don't KNOW how well they'd hang on to an 8×10 tarp in a strong wind.

Here is something that works with a variety of line sizes and requires no sewing or hardware purchase http://tinyurl.com/cyuvzr
