Nice deal but be aware there's around $10 tax on a neoair if shipping to california. I was going to try to use a USA mail forwarding service to buy a NeoAir from these guys, but shipping is an extra $5 and California tax is $10. (Still saving some, but when you add on the cost of the forwarding service, plus international postage it gets pretty expensive. Mind you, I just checked a local Sydney store for the regular neoair which has just arrived here in oz… price works out at US$263!! They've gotta be kidding…!)

EDIT: Bought a NeoAir from basegear!

Basegear.com now has the regular size neoair (and the small) at 20% off. Free shipping and no tax for california residents.

Has anyone used mammothgear.com? I am going to purchase a WM Ultralite but wanted to make sure they are legit with good recos first. Their site doesn't even have a picture of the bag available before purchase. Any users out there?

Thanks.

I don't see the sale price on Neo Air pads at basegear.com… must have been a very short time sale?

Jeff
I just purchased a pair of Mammut pants from them this week. They were quick to ship and very prompt on communications (email with tracking number when it shipped and an email notification that it had been delivered)
It was my first order, but I will be looking at using them again.

I ordered a WM bag from them last year. No problems.

Yep mammothgear is good, I've ordered from them before.

As for basegear, looks like the 20% off the neoair is still active but they have sold out of regulars… only smalls showing up at the moment. To get the 20% off you need to click the "Coupon offer" link next to the price, and then click on "Activate coupon" or something like that on the next page. It might not show up until you go to checkout… can't remember. But you definitely get 20% off.

Cheers, A

Glad to hear it worked out, Mammoth Gear is great, a good bunch of folks… and they always ship fast too. The only bummer for us California folks is we have to pay the sales tax.
