A friend of mine is in her early 20’s, a long distance runner and interested in getting into snowshoeing, especially for light weight hiking. I would guess that she is around 5′ and in full winter clothing still does not break 100 pounds. Anyone have a suggestion on the snowshoe that would be best for her? She is from the NE US

Jan 24, 2006 at 9:36 pm #1349219MSR Denalis would work just fine. They are small to start off with.
Also, The Atlas line for ladies is good-and they make a 22″ version for smaller ladies.
Any shoe of 22″ would work well for her weight :-) -
