i am trying to figure out where one can go camping, but stay in the same location for up to two months. somewhere where you could park your car a few miles away, so one could drive into town on occasion to pick up supplies.
regular park campgrounds seem to only allow camping up to ten days or so. federal lands have lots of regulations on hunting/campfires, etc.
im not trying to replicate "into the wild", but would like to find a place where i could practice bushcraft in a fairly remote setting for the summer months.
would this require becoming friends with ted turner or some other land baron who owns thousands of acres of private land? or is there some other solution? -
