So I'm looking for input on a new sleeping bag. I'm going to do almost all of my hiking in California during the summers and early fall, mostly in the Sierras with some coastal camping as well. I've never had a down bag and am nervous about the fact that if it gets wet I might as well have brought a wet paper towel. (That's my impression anyway) But I'm willing to try for the lower weight and smaller stuff size. I have 3 choices in mind but am open to suggestions, although I'd like to keep it under $230.
The 3 bags in mind are:
-Kelty Light Year 20
-Montbell UL Spiral Down Hugger #3
-Mountain Hardware Ultra Lamina 32
