Is there a Caldera Cone that fits the Snowpeak 900 and 1400 pots?

Anyone know? Hope so. They are nice cooksets that works very well for me, so hoping there are Cones that fit them (especially Ti Cones so that they could also be used with burning wood).

Looks like you answered your own question, but I have a SP 900 Caldera Cone kit in both Aluminum and Titanium versions and it works great.

How much does the Ti 900 version weigh, how much fuel do you save with it and how much faster do you reach a boil?

Also, what do you use to carry it? The plastic cup/bowl/carrier they offer on the site?

The Ti does not really offer any fuel efficiency advantages. It does give you more flexibility for using wood as fuel since the titanium has a higher melting temperature than the aluminum. I also like the fact that the Ti stove is a lot more durable and does not deform nearly as easily. Weight wise, I think they are pretty similar, I don't recall the exact weights. I use the Caldera Kitchen kit to augment my stove and provide a place to store it in. The Ti version does cost a lot more than the Aluminum one however, around $100 or so.

Thanks Andrew, I meant how much fuel efficiency does the Caldera Cone add for esbit use – the Ti obviously offers no fuel benefits over the aluminum.

1) How much faster do you reach a boil?
2) How much fuel do you save for a given task?

I like the system of the Caldera Cone and multi-use plastic container/mug with pot cozy – just trying to quantify when the Caldera is worth the extra weight.

Sorry, I've haven't evaluated the esbit option with my Ti setup yet. Maybe someone else here can chime in on that.
