I got mine on clearane at EMS for $10, so I’m happy with it no matter what…It’s not very breathable, but it is warm, so it’s definetely a better windshirt than rain protection. I like the high neck for keeping out drizzle and the long chest zipper, and that’s about it for features except for a single pocket on the back. Light and simple and for me, cheap. It seems well made. I haven’t worn it backpacking yet, only around town, but nothing has come frayed or undone and it sure has kept me warm on some chilly mornings.

I sold mine and got a Montane. It was well made, but I needed more ventilation; otherwise, I was happy with construction and fit. With the coating on the fabric, it does have very good DWR qualities.

EMS can have some real deals when they want to clear stuff out.

The price sucked me in also. But the first time I expended some energy in it, I was soaked. It does NOT breath. Spend the extra and get a better windshirt.
