Any have any experience with a MLD Speed Tarp?

They seem concerned about it's durability since it is made from a lighter Cuben Fiber material.
It's tempting.

I own the Grace Duo Spectralite .60 and have had great success with its durability. (Somewhat to my surprise, I should add.) It held up nicely during a two day wind/rain/sleet storm in the Winds last summer. I'm always very conscious to avoid puncture holes – apparently cuben fiber is more prone to puncture than it is to rip. Just like most UL gear a greater degree of care is required.
I realize the cuben fiber MLD is using on this tarp is .45 weight, but if you understand the limitations of the material (talk to Ron at MLD) I'm confident you'll get years of use out of the tarp.
John,
Thanks for the input. I'll check it out.
Thanks,
Steve
