Can anyone advise me as to the availability of the merino wool BPL hoodies in green that were advertised hereon some time ago?
I would like to buy two of these to finish my merino collection and am very eager to get them.

Join the club bud. I would buy one too if i could. Alas, they seem to be just a tease.
Their was news a while back about a pullover with a hood. Maybe that'll surface soon.
As for the BPL original hoodie, it's been off the market for months and months.

Yeah, I'm snatching one up, too, if thay ever make more. Sadly, mine is a common refrain. (What up, Ryan ?!?)
The production color wasn't the bright green seen in the action photos of Ryan, by the way. Those were a prototype. The production model was more of a green/gray. It looks a lot better. The listing here on the BPL site shows a close-up of the production cloth.

The BPL Hoody was a great success and there will be a second run of those manufactured in the future. Bear with us as we are a small company and the overhead on making this stuff is high. Sign up for a stock alert on the product page to be notified of their arrival.
Secondly, as Dana pointed out, a hooded pullover sewn from our UL Merino fabric is in the prototype stage at this time as well.
Hoody of out UL merino!? That would be EXACTLY the type of baselayer I'm looking for. (Similarly, I would love it if Patagonia made a hoody out of their Capilene 1 fabric.)
I didnt buy one at first because of the colour too, but i couldnt resist buying one for me and one for my wife with the end of year sale.
For me the color is better than shown on the website, and i prefer a not too dark , not too clear one, so after all i am happy with it.
But color choice is quite personnal :)
Sam: Any chance we could pre-pay to spead the process up? I'm also very interested in the hooded pullover as well.
We are currently contemplating doing a pre-purchase of the UL Merino Hoody. No talk as of yet on the expected dates for the Beartooth Merino Hoody.
let us know if and when we could pre order. I need to replace my synthetics.

Is this product going to be different in any way from last year's merino hoody? Different colors maybe?
i should be on the newsletter, but i never really get anything… :( what's the email addy that you guys send the announcements from? than i can add it to my contacts list to make sure it doesn't go in the spam folder. except i do get my order reciepts, and once in a blue moon i get a late stock alert. I ordered the mosquito netting a couple weeks before i got the email that it was back in stock…
