The Equinox/Campmor tarps have grommets instead of re-infoced, sewn-in tie outs. The 8'x10' tarp is made of two 5'x8' panels, which is much less structurally sound than one made by two 4'x10' panels when pitched A-frame style, though the former method yields a cheaper tarp. I don't know about the 6'x8' tarp, though.

Jay,

Let me say I really like this tarp.

There is, however, a drawback:

The above mentioned grommets. Never been a problem, but they APPEAR to be a place of weakness, if not yet, then in the future. They look like they will tear out eventually. Therefore, I will add tie-outs all around.

Great bargain, and you could always sell it on gear swap if you don't like it. Equinox stuff is good!
