I just use a plastic soda bottle. Works fine for me. Makes a great place to wrap the wind screen also.

Ditto. For shorter trips I have a 10 oz little mini water bottle from a hotel room. Longer trips I use a 20 oz aquafina.

As above, or for a couple of ounces, REI (and other less expensive places) also sell bottles in 1, 2, 3, 4 and 8 oz. sizes.

I haven't had any issues with spill. This size will last me for a weekend trip. That is a dinner, tea, brekfast, tea. I would say it lasts for a little over 2 qt's of water brought to a boil. If I was going for longer I would either switch to canister or do what others above do and put it in a water bottle. Also the heet bottle itself will hold 12 oz and its shape actually packs away nice enough leaking is definately not an issue with that.

i think the best alcohol container is the plastic perrier bottle which is dual layer, so if the outer layer got punctured, you still have a chance the inner layer won't puncture and it is ultra light. costco sells the plastic perrier bottled water.

I haven't moved to these stoves yet, but I remember seeing Jason Klass using a contact lens solution bottle in a couple of his videos.

I use a 4 and 8oz bottle that I got from rei. If I need anything more than 8 oz on a trip I go to solid fuel.

I use a dasani bottle for long hauls or a variety of plastic squirt cooking bottles depending on how much I need.
