Spinn Shelter on Gooch Mountain, AT, 2009

Own a piece of history! Purchased in 2009 for my AT thru-hike and used off and on from Georgia to the James River crossing in Virginia where I got wise and swapped it out for a TarpTent. It’s been stored in my closet ever since.  It has a pretty ugly seam seal job on it, my first attempt, but it works. Other than the seam seal, it doesn’t seem to have the quality control issues these were notorious for because it stood up to my newbie fumbling on the AT. I stopped using it because I wanted a floor and bug netting. Last set up in 2023 (as seen in photo) and it was still in great shape.

Includes instructions, stuff sack, and Gossamer Gear bug net designed to work with the Spinn Shelter. Does not include stakes or ground cloth. Price includes shipping.

So this is the spinnaker fabric, and not silnylon, correct?
