What are the lightest hard plastic or aluminum bottles out there? I'm tired of soft Platypuses and Nalgene Cantenes, as well as Gatorade and Powerade bottles. I suppose I'm really wanting something that doesn't look so tacky.

In any case, if I may tack on to your question… I myself am looking for the lightest 16-20oz wide-mouth hard water bottle.

I found a 2.9 oz hard water widemouth bottle, 32 oz size, and okayed by steripen support as being suitable for use with the steripen. shown at above link.

Is lighter then nalgene because it is made of polypro (BPA free). I sent them a email sometime ago but they couldnt give me exact weight. Best part about the bottle is that it is squeezable.

I bought mine at a grocery store, Cub Foods. These are items common at many grocery stores.
