Where’s Ryan?

Ryan the Snowman
Was a very happy Doc.
With his Tilley hat
and his CF Stix
and his eyes now frozen shut.

Ryan the Snowman
in the midst of snowbound night.
Is sleeping tight
in a cave of snow
till the sun pops o’er the mount.

There must have been some lightweight gear
in that worn G6 he found.
For when he placed it on his back,
up that snowy hill he bound.

Ryan the Snowman
was in his el-e-ment.
With the snow and cold,
and his heart so bold,
He might not wanna’ come back.

Ryan the Snowman
don’t mistake him for Sasquatch.
Though he’s right at home
in the Snowy Mounts.
He’s much more than a myth.

Down from the slo-pes
Now, Ry-an did glis-sade
Sliding here and there like the weather’s fair
Though the blizzard blew so white.

He had himself a lot o’ fun
While on his winter hike
And only brought it to an end when
he thought of his wee tyke.

Ryan the Snowman
had to hurry back to home.
And he said goodbye
to his snowy dome
hoping to be back some day.

I got 2 emails from Ryan last night in reference to the “Readers Rag” magazine. When asked about his hike he replied that it has been to warm and he is waiting for colder weather.
