I just revived a pair of the insulated socks and I'm wondering how they should fit?
Mine seem big, almost baggy w/ almost an inch of extra length, even with my thin linners.
Is that how they should fit? Does anyone have any experince with them?
Cheers, Rob

I sent my standard off the shelf size back and got the custom fit option. Mine were baggy as well, the custom was perfect. I wore my LaSportiva Glaciers down to 0 degrees with them. Great product.

Yup, custom fit is the ticket. I had them made for both my wife and I by tracings of our feet. There is very little extra room, but they never have felt tight or gotten bunched up either. IMO, these are the greatest winter socks made. They are the only VB's I have been able to tolerate day after day and that don't feel like a wrinkly mess inside my boot. My wife has a very difficult time keeping her feet warm and says that this has been the warmest option yet.

These socks are brilliant. I have the non insulated RBH socks. Just used them in the 6633 ultra marathon (120 miles Northen Yukon temps down to minus 51) Feet were comfortable all the way. My socks also seemed a bit baggy at first – I spoke to the crew at RBH they recommended going a bit bigger rather than a tight fit. They were right. The socks are very comfortable and no blisters. The insulated sock is a bit more bulky than the standard liners, but I assume the same principles apply. If you find the insulated socks too bulky I really recommend the thiner liner sock, it really has worked well for me in some very low temperatures with just a thin liner sock and a pair of running shoes.
