Now, I usually do not need poles for where I live but they are beneficial for going up hill. I would like to get a cheap pair or something similar just to have around when needed but I do not want to spend alot of money. What are my options? I like the cork grips on the Leki's, their ability to collapse down real far and I know I need something 140cm but what else can I do that is still lightweight? Thanks.

Correct.
I'm 6'5" and set my poles (using the "accepted" methodology) at 125 to 130 cm…according to the markings on the poles…and which pair of poles it is. YMMV, as do body proportions.
If you are using poles for uphill only, then they don't have to be very long. For downhill (which is where I use mine, almost exclusively) it is a different matter. It also depends on whether you use the straps (Nordic ski style) or put your hands on top of the pole, when going downhill. I like to place my poles way out ahead of me when descending along with the Nordic strap technique, which means I extend my poles quite a bit.
To answer the original question, I would look for used gear. People are constantly getting new poles (as pole technology improves) so there are probably lots of people getting rid of their old Lekis or Komperdells.
I was at Target the other day and while there, decided to look at their camping aisle. They had "cork" handled trekking poles cheap. I didn't pay attention much as I have a few pairs, but—the brand was likely "Eddie Bauer" as that seems to be the house brand. I'm sure they would do the job for you.
They worked just fine. A bit heavy (of course) but nothing wrong with them…I'd take just one, if you don't need it for shelter set-up because it was a bit much lugging them around on flat ground.
