I went to buy a Bic mini lighter and found that Scripto is offering a small lighter now. Weight is identical to the Bic mini (0.4oz), but it is shorter and a bit fatter.

I have found Bic's to be bomb proof. They still work after you forget to take them out of you pockets and wash your clothes. Just need to let the fint dry out.
I have found that the Scripto is more likely to have the flint mechanism break.
Lastly, I find the Bic is easier to operate and almost always lights on the first click.
