Is BPL going to carry any larger tarps in the Spring or Summer??

We do not have any of the Bozeman Mountain Works tarps in stock at this time. We are in the process of protyping a new Backpacking Light tarp that will be larger sized and more feature-rich. It will not be in production for the 2009 season however.

Jay, BPL will be bringing in some third-party tarps in the near future which may interest you however. So keep that in mind when considering what to order.

So why do you continue to list things that you either don't intend to stock or are no longer being made for you by a former vendor?

It's bad enough that you can't maintain inventory on the items you try to keep.

Backpacking Light inventory is all being re-stocked at this time. We also have some new products on order as well.

Bob, the Bozeman Mountain Works products are all signature products to Backpacking Light. We continue to list those products as they represent a legacy product for us – a legacy product which we may continue to offer in the future. If and when we decide to discontinue them we will remove them from our site listings.

Judging by your tone this seems an issue of great importance to you and I apologize if we've taken a stance that has caused you pain.
