I was just wondering if anyone with a Gossamer Gear The One could post a photo of them laying inside so I can better picture how much space is available height-wise. I am mainly interested in whether I would fit with a 2 inch inflatable pad and pillow or if there would not be enough space for my head and feet. Thanks.

Derek,
I know the one was designed and tested by Glen at Gossamer Gear he is 6' 5" tall. I remember seeing a photo of him inside it and I recall it have plenty of room. I also saw it at the PCT kickoff last year and was thinking it woudl be plenty big for me at 6' 2" tall. They have since redesined The One but I think the dimensions are the same. Might check GG web site to see if they have any photos of it with a pad and sleeping bag inside.

If you are thinking that 2 inches of pad plus a pillow will have you floating up toward the ceiling with fabric in your face, have no fear.

I don't have a picture of myself in my tent, but my 5'3" of height fit laying down with my pack at one end and about another foot or so beyond my head. The roof slanted somewhat steeply, but never did I wake up with fabric in my face.

I had one (no pun intended) and returned it. I am 6'1" and when I was on a 1" mat on my side, my shoulder would almost touch the slope of the shelter.
