I think there was a thread on this not too long ago, but I was not able to find it through the search.
I was looking for the most secure knots to use with 1-3mm spectra line. Any help would be appreciated.

The double overhand knot (or thumbknot) does hold and makes a good loop at the end. Most other knots slide.
