Looks like I'll be doing the northern section of the Long Path (NY 44/55 to the northern terminus, or the reverse, about 200 miles) this May. Approximately the 9th through 23rd, give or take. My plans are nowhere near solid yet, but I figure I'll be testing out a lot of new gear and techniques along the way.
Are there any other BPLers in the Catskill/Albany area who know the trail at all? Or anyone interested in learning more?
I'll post details as I figure them out. I'm working on a gear list now.
