Is it just me, or has the formatting on the 'recent posts' page been screwed up?

Looks like the BPL web admin has recently added a drop down box to filter posts so that you can see the particular forum you are interested in.

Working fine on Firefox, but it's screwed up in my version of Opera (9.2). Very messy indeed, and not the desired effect!

Clicking the "last 50 posts" page gives alot of new text at the top. All forum names are listed in text and none are in the drop down box. An error has been made.

On Firefox 3.0.6 here, and all is well.
Clean screen, "Last 50" gives multiple forums posts.
Pulldown lets me filter.

Nice feature. You back-office guys are rocking.

Thanks.

Ditto the following on my computer:

"Clicking the 'last 50 posts' page gives alot of new text at the top. All forum names are listed in text and none are in the drop down box. An error has been made."

Lesson #1: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Lesson #2: Run away fast if someone says, "Hi, I'm from IT and I'm here to make life easier."

Greg –

I'm using Internet Explorer 7.

JRS

PS – the version "7" also has a bunch of numbers sprinkled with some decimals — as in: "7.0.5730.0"

PPS – No, make that as in: "7.0.5730.11"; so that's my story and I'm sticking to it. At least, it is until the next "automatic" update that someone decides is necessary for some reason unknown to me.

Hi folks, sorry for the trouble. There was a little bug.

Folks on IE will also notice the the menu dropdowns go behind the Forum filter. This is a known bug in IE with no workaround. So if you like the new filter then we'll just have to deal until IE gets with the picture. :D

Hope you find the new filter useful.

Thanks for the fix, Ben.

Don't understand what you're saying about a continuing problem with IE (which is what I have), but the drop-down menu does display all the different forums now, and I'm taken to whichever one I select. So seems to work fine.

Thanks again.

I'm referring to the site navigation drop-downs (Home, Articles, Shop…) going behind the forum listing drop-down.

But if it's ok for you all, then I'm happy.
