Socks

I wear injinji socks almost exclusively all the time, not just for hiking. I love them.

I have found the toes on the bamboo ones I tried were too long and bunched up painfully. I have never had any trouble with the wool ones.

I wore a pair on the PCT last year for about 600 miles before I decided to switch to a new pair. There was a small hole.

I have found that you can wear the liner socks on the outside with injinjies. Either thin ones or consider the injinjies to be the liners and wear thicker socks outside.

I'm a huge fan of Injinji socks. I typically hike & backpack in a pair of Tevas and will add a liner and wool sock over the injinjis if I'm going out in cold weather. I do get strange looks on the hiking trails around phoenix, though…….sandals and black toe socks. That must make me old?
