well i can't afford to buy 2 bivy's, since i can make 2 for the price of one. I already have the "RS180" bivy plans from seattle fabrics and a couple other places online sell the pattern.
I was wondering if anyone has used this pattern and has a finished picture?
How do you seal the boxed seams?
Any necesary mods? it appears to be really long for somebody of my height and a little narrow. approx 71" at the shoulders, ~101" length after being boxed. i'm only 5' 6" it seems a little long, and the hood seems fairly long.
Any good ideas how to attach a full bug netting? not just the window in the plans. say like the tigoat bivy. should it be attached all around the head with velcro or run a zipper?
