Has anyone ever tried the Komperdell bonded waterproof gloves?

I tend to think these wouldn't work well for backpacking (once wet through rain leaking in from wrist opening during a rainstorm they would probably take long to dry), but I'm curious – has anyone tried these? They are supposed to be sealed without stitches and totally waterproof.
