I was wondering where you buy your goods for your projects? I am new to this and thought I would ask here instead of wandering all over google.I am looking for quality fabric, webbing, thread, buckles, needles, etc.
Thanks for any info you can pass along.

From what I know, most people use these sites:http://www.seattlefabrics.com/
http://www.owfinc.com/
http://www.speerhammocks.com/Products/Supplies.htmThose are the main ones I know of. Sounds like we're looking for some of the same info.

Jan 13, 2009 at 6:51 pm #1469953One giant plus when you shop with Thru-Hiker is that you can rest assured that the item is very very high quality.
FYI: Acye and I work together on sourcing and developing many materials, (Momentum, Spinntex EXP, Dyneema X, etc.) to get the best of the best in a given category and Thru-Hiker.com gives great customers service and advice on how to make items.
Check out the helpful how-to forums at Thru-Hiker you don't get that at any other fabric sites. -You get a lot of value added support with your purchase.
Jan 13, 2009 at 7:27 pm #1469967Wow,I am amazed with all the experience you folks bring. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to help a rookie like me. I have gained a ton of info in a very short amount of time.
