Basically I'm looking for a pair of boots with the following features:
Mid height
breathable, preferably no goretex liner
don't have the kind of mesh that will allow sand in
Can handle up to 50lb loads
weigh less than 2 1/2 lbs per pair
durable enough for extended backcountry travel
Any suggestions? Maybe I'm asking for too much of lightweight shoes?
