Being city-bound, I'm having some trouble finding partners for snowshoeing trips here in the NE. Anybody interested?

I'm not that particular about where, but I would like to work on my winter peak bagging lists if anybody is into that. That said, I'm pretty flexible. Just want to get outside.

I was up in the Catskills last week (Windham High Peaks and Blackhead Range) to try out some new snowshoes but there was barely any snow on the ground. Ended up just being a hike with a few snow patches. Unless they got some snow with this last storm, you might want to head further north.

Yeah, not a lot of snow in the Cats right now. I did Windham and the Blackhead Range as a 17 mile loop last Feb. That was my first snowshoe trip. Really fun.

The 'Dacks have plenty of snow though. And I'm dying to get up there. My plans for this weekend seem to have fallen through though due to car troubles and the flu…
